Continuing Education Credit
Continuing Education (CE) toward certification or re-certification for counselors will be available for the Joint Meeting. ACPA and NASPA are approved to award CE's by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). Continuing Education credits (CE's) for psychologists will be available through ACPA's Commission for Counseling and Psychological Services (CCAPS). CCAPS is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. CCAPS maintains responsibility for these programs and their content. Over sixty hours of programming from ACPA's 2006 National Convention was approved for continuing education credit for social workers through the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and approval is anticipated again for the 2007 ACPA/NASPA Joint Meeting. We encourage social workers to join us at the Joint Meeting and earn valuable CE credits while interacting with peers from other colleges and universities.
